The Coffeys in Paris: June 2007

Well, we will fly out tomorrow morning to visit everyone!! We are really excited about it since Juliette has asked for Ba Ngoai, Ong Ngoai, Elizabeth Kha, Thomas, Granny and Grandpa. See you very soon.

Nick and Kevin are making the Europe tour and stopped along the way to see us. This was their first night so we made a special quiche for them. We had also cheese and of course, they loved the unpasteurised ones. Ah, another beauty of France--wine and cheese. We're going to have durade and creme brulee today, so we can't wait to see how they like it. Han went to the fresh market and bought the big boys--durade!!

We went to a birthday party and even Melissa enjoyed it too.

Melissa was the youngest one at the party so she just wanted to stay with mommy and daddy. Here is a picture of daddy and Melissa.

Poker Night again but this time, we had horse steaks for dinner. Yep, Han felt a bit guilty for eating it but everyone thought it was so tender.

Juliette is decorating her cupcake. Ella is moving to Switzerland so Juliette will miss her friend!!

This is so cute. Melissa loves to put the float around her neck and Juliette is walking beside her to make sure she doesn't fall.

Ken is preparing the last part of creme brulee. Wow, this is the best creme brulee. He's getting better with this each time.

It's 9.30 pm and we're eating the plat!! Wow, this is a change. We usually eat about 10.30-11.00 pm when people come over. It's very nice that we're eating early!!

It's very rare that Melissa sits in this chair but she did today.

Melissa likes to feed herself but Han has a difficult time with this since she makes such a big mess. As you can see, she has yogurt in her hair!! It's like this everytime she eats anything!!

Juliette loves riding on the scooter. Most of the french kids have one here and we've seen lots of older women riding on the scooter, too. Han will make sure to take a picture of this one day because it's another memory of Paris.

Han took Juliette to a party at the halte garderie. We met some kids who will attend the same school where Juliette will go in September.

Melissa likes to stand on everything now!

We've lost about four pair of sunglasses so the girls are showing off their newest ones. Let's hope these are not lost!!

Melissa didn't have a problem drinking out of a straw, too.

Melissa was fascinated with balloons at Noah's first birthday party.

Poor Ken, he couldn't go in the water because he didn't wear a speedo. That's right, everyone has to wear a speedo in the swimming pool. He enjoyed holding Melissa as she was scared of the water.
